Lockdown Packs
Playgrounds closed? no worries!
We know playgrounds closing has been a bummer for most families with little ones, so we thought what could we do to give you that extra hand (and time?) for the next two weeks.
That’s how we came up with the idea of Lockdown Packs: small, household packs that focus on activity and with items not available in the general Bayside Toy Library catalogue.
We have then “re-assembled” our famous party packs for the remainder of lockdown making sure:
- each has a big ticket item and an extra 2 items that will make the week fun and enjoyable
- focus on gross motor skills
- items that are easy to clean (therefore no ball pits)

Borrowing process
Complete the online request form. Please note, this does not mean you have booked the items. We will need to confirm availability of your chosen pack(s) first.
You will receive a confirmation email within 1-2 days from our Pack Coordinator, letting you know whether the items are available and assigning you a spot.
Loan period is 1 week.
Pack Collection is SATURDAY from 12 to 1pm (you’ll be assigned a slot)
Pack Dropoff is SATURDAY from 9 to 10 (you’ll be assigned a slot)
Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.
Once booked, there will be no refunds available.
Everything must be returned thoroughly clean and dry. Otherwise, the library reserves the right to retain the bond. To learn about how to clean the items, visit the Cleaning Guidelines
